In Oil & Gas, weld and corrosion inspections are very common on pipelines, tanks, pressure vessels and power plants.
The operators look for a robust, reliable and portable solution to prevent environmental damages, human injuries or loss of life and unnecessary costs.
For Waste Management applications, the real time aspect of the solution is an additional challenge: the x-ray system is integrated as part of the in-line processing to determine the nature of the materials on the conveyor belt. An accurate and efficient sorting will benefit the environment.
